A Naval Architecture project at Studio Delta brings a design concept to a level of technical development suitable for building, by using modern and tested methods. Based on a general review of the concept, a strategy will be chosen to lift the project to a suitable standard for construction.
Analyses are made for hullform design, weights, resistance analysis and propulsion design, flag and class requirements and construction. The installation preparation of essential elements on board such as: anchor winches, cranes, doors, hatches, bow and stern thrusters , life raft and rescue boat arrangements. The technical outfitting of essential elements requires an integral approach, taking into account ergonomics, design and class rules.
Exterior deck outfitting
Exterior deck outfitting, placing components of interest on the outside decks. Taking into account the exterior design and structural requirements of the yacht. Some of the items that are considered are hatches, deck lockers, ventilation lockers, deck wash lockers, filling stations, sunscreens, Jacuzzi and outside bar. A subject that has received much more attention lately, and contributes largely to the user-friendliness of the yacht.
As a consultant we provide naval architecture services in the field of Refits and New builds, we can advise you or provide a second opinion. We have extensive experience in hull extensions, superstructure updates and upgrades in installations such as stabilizer conversions to zero-speed installations. Most of the consultancy projects were Super Yacht refit projects. With extensive experience in working as a consultant for Dutch and international yards and owner representation teams, we work flexible, objective and position ourselves a reliable business partner.
