Steamship George Stephenson

George Stephenson is a tribute to the shipbuilding industry of the 1950s. The steamer is a combination of a new hull with parts and elements of steamships from the past.

The propulsion of the vessel can be by a revised Gardner diesel engine, as well as a compound steam engine.

The vessel is equiped for thirth party steam supply and research into biofuels.

Studio Delta was responsible for the project’s naval architecture.
